Keynote: People Powered Transformation

In a large organization with a legacy of doing work following traditional waterfall methods, unlocking the power of people to enable a transformation towards an Agile way of working is the most critical thing to get right. This hinges on having a plan to reach individuals where they are, creating pathways for them to the future, offering actionable advice they can follow to advance their careers, and building a support network to sustain the transformation. Aon assisted JPMC to reach these goals within the context of a large transformative effort to adopt Agile as a new way of working.

Within this keynote, Ann Givens will discuss the imperative for the change toward Agile, key principles to ignite and sustain a transformation, and provide actionable tips for using smart talent analytics to enable people powered transformations.

Survival of the Fittest: Applying the Principals of Natural Selection to the Future World of Work

With Deloitte predicting that 47% of today’s jobs will be gone in 10 years time, organizations must begin to understand the skills required to thrive in the new digital world of work. However, how can we begin to predict the skills required for high performance in jobs that don’t currently exist?

Digital Disruption and the resulting trends of industry convergence and job automation are forcing organizations to rethink their talent strategies to ensure they can adapt, evolve, and remain competitive in the global marketspace. In this time of incessant change, we know it is people that will drive innovation and the ongoing success of an organization. We must now begin to assess candidates based on their ability to adapt and learn in this fast-paced environment, moving away from specific skills and towards overarching competencies such as learnability, curiosity and agility.

We have asked organizations worldwide about their organizational digital readiness...and will share a sneak preview of the results on the 21st March.

Cognitive ability has been proven to be the top predictor for future job performance. If you have ever needed to convince others that cognitive ability tests really work – and improve the quality of hires – this is the session for you.

Through internal validation Credit Suisse has provided evidence year by year that these tests do work. There are still doubters within the organization of this very simple, but pivotal information. In this session, Andreas and Sina will provide insight into its newly developed interactive e-learning module that helps the business to educate the organization on the value and benefits of ability tests.
